| Changes and Updates |
| eValuShop reserves the right to update, enforce and change the policies as and when the needs arise. By participating in this program, you agree that eValuShop may revise these policies at any time. Such revisions or changes shall be binding and effective immediately on posting of the changes on this Web page or on notification to all existing affiliates by e-mails. The affiliate agrees to review these policies periodically to be aware of any such revisions. |
| Recurring Commissions for Three Years |
When you refer someone to eValuShop, that person will become your referral if he is not already associated with one of our affiliates. This association is permanent, and it will not change even if the same person is later directed to eValuShop.com by another affiliate. To be fair to other affiliates, you can not refer yourself to eValuShop and earn commissions from your own purchases.
You will earn three percent commissions on all purchases made by your referrals at eValuShop department store over a qualifying period of three years. This period may be extended indefinitely subject to the effectiveness of this program in cutting down our marketing expenditures.
If your referral buys or sells something on Flea Mart, you will also be entitled to take a 20-percent cut on the transaction fees paid by the seller to eValuShop. As an illustration, suppose a seller sells a merchandise to a buyer with a winning bid of $500. The seller has to pay $12.50 commission to eValuShop. Of this amount, $2.50 will go to the affiliate who refers the buyer to eValuShop and another $2.50 to the seller's affiliate. The same three-year qualifying period applies here. |
| Product Reviews |
eValuShop encourages all affiliates to post their product reviews on its department store and rewards them with an opportunity to earn extra pocket money. If a customer is not associated with any affiliate or this association has expired after three years, then the three-percent sales commissions will be shared by the affiliates who submitted reviews on those products purchased by the customer.
Commissions earned through product reviews are not affected by the three-year qualifying period. However, affiliate who purchases an item that he had reviewed will not earn commission from this review. The commissions will be shared by other affiliates who submitted the remaining reviews. This is an extension of our basic principle that affiliates shall not earn commissions from their own purchases.
For example, if the customer purchases item A at $100 and item B at $50, and if item A has 5 reviews and item B has only one review, then each of the 5 reviewers for item A will receive 40 cents while the sole reviewer for item B will receive $1.00.
Do not under-estimate the income potential from product reviews. We advertise frequently on printed and online media such as keyword search and Google Adwords. Traffic driven through these channels will not be associated with any affiliate, and if these prospects purchase something, the affiliates who submitted reviews on the products purchased will be entitled to share the sales commissions. This can add up very fast to an astronomical figure for fast-moving items. |
| Payment of Commissions |
| All commissions earned within a specific month will be remitted within the last week of the following month. There is no minimum requirement to qualify for payment. All affiliates are required to have a PayPal account because commission payouts are effected through PayPal's Mass Payment service only. If you do not have a PayPal account, please open a PayPal account now before you sign up for our affiliate program. |
| Affiliate Marketing Practices |
Banner advertising is never as effective as text endorsement in driving traffic to a Web site. Consequently, we do not provide many banners for marketing purposes. eValuShop encourages affiliates to write about the merits of shopping at eValuShop in their own words, copy and paste suitable product images from our e-store and use their ID-encoded hyperlinks to direct visitors to eValuShop.
You can place your endorsements online in many places. Besides your own homepage or Web site, you may consider setting up personal blog, posting messages to shopping forums and using social networking platforms such as Facebook, MySpace and YouTube to reach out to potential prospects. Above all, don't forget to tap your immediate contacts such as families, neighbors, friends, colleagues, social acquaintances and business associates.
There is no need to restrict your effort to Internet marketing. You can also promote eValuShop through word-of-mouth, MSN and other media that do not facilitate the use of hyperlinks. Our system will ask customers to give credits to their referrors if it could not detect verifiable affiliate ID on hyperlinks and cookies. Just remember to tell your prospects your full name in the same format as that used for opening an account with eValuShop.
Setting up Wish List is undoubtedly the most effective way to build up your downlines. Invited guests who purchase something from your Wish List will automatically become your referrals if they are not already associated with one of our affiliates. |
| Removal from Affiliate Program |
eValuShop reserves the rights at its sole discretion to remove anyone from its affiliate program guilty of committing any of the following prohibited activities.
 Provide false personal information and contact address.
Commit frauds on Flea Mart such as failure to deliver product as promised.
Commit frauds in credit card transactions.
Commit offences related to sending unsolicited emails or "spamming".
Post malicious, false or offensive remarks about eValuShop and its products/services.
An affiliate who is removed from the program will cease to earn commissions from his referrals and product reviews with immediate effect. |
